In July 2017 SINTAN IP received a request from Dr Greyson Mpinga to support him during his study at the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in Dar es Salaam.
He was training to become a gynecologist, but due to family circumstances it was not possible to finance the final year of his study.
After signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Dr Mpinga received an amount, partly as grant and partly as an interest free loan, which enabled him to finish his training in time.
Dr Mpinga, who graduated in 2018, is currently working in Songwe, close to the Zambian border. He joined the Dutch NLS team in 2018 and was a huge support during the training sessions in Mvumi and Turiani Hospitals.
