A group of 48 Maasai girls of the Secondary School in Nyumba ya Mungu, Simanjiro District doesn’t have to walk long distances from their homes to school any more. During weekdays they can spend the nights in the new dormitory close to the school. It saves their parents a lot of worries and the girls have more energy to do their homework!
The school administration sought assistance from SINTAN IP to construct a dormitory for girls with additional latrines and washing areas.
SINTAN IP initiated a number activities to raise the required funds. Together with the support of WILDE GANZEN a total amount of 28.922 euros was collected.
