SINTAN IP has been established in November 2007 with the aim to cooperate with others in Tanzania as well as in The Netherlands, to contribute to a sustainable development in Tanzania in the field of healthcare.
Till 2015 SINTAN IP organised and facilitated the internships of medical students of the University of Groningen/University Medical Center Groningen and the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam.
From 2015 onwards the focus of SINTAN IP has been on contributing to a sustainable development of healthcare in Tanzania by organising and facilitating exchange of knowledge. This can be done in different ways. For example to facilitate and organise train the trainers courses in different fields of healthcare.
